Absentee voting (or early voting) is now open until November 2, 2020. You can either come into the County Clerk’s office and request an absentee ballot, or you can request an absentee ballot by clicking here. Remember that in order for your vote to count, your ballot must be received at the Clerk’s office no later than 7:00 p.m. on November 3, 2020, General Election Day. You can also drop your ballot in the official ballot drop box located outside the County Courthouse at 107 N. 5th Street (near the sliding glass doors) until 7:00 p.m. on November 3, 2020.
Need to register to vote? You have options! You can register at the County Clerk’s office, at the polls on Election Day, or register via email by completing the attached form . Remember that you must have an acceptable form of identification to register to vote in person - including changes to voter registration - and must include a copy of an acceptable form of ID when you register via email.
Per W.S. 22-3-102, if you come into the Clerk’s office to register to vote or make changes to your voter registration (including address and/or party affiliation) after October 18, 2020, you must also cast your ballot the same day.
NOTICE: Absentee ballots cannot be accepted by Election Judges on Election Day! If you bring an absentee ballot to the polls, you will have the option of either spoiling your absentee ballot and voting in person at the polls, or dropping your absentee ballot off at the County Clerk’s office or the official ballot drop box.
Thank you and remember - YOUR VOTE COUNTS!
