RE: POSITIVE CASE(S) NOTIFICATION -NON RESIDENT.

DATE: July 20th, 2020

On Monday, July 20th, 2020 the Converse County Public Health Department, in conjunction with Converse County Emergency Management received notification of 1 individual that tested positive for COVID-19 at Memorial Hospital of Converse County. This case IS NOT included in the Converse County case count as they do not reside within Converse County. The individual is male, 30’s, recovering at home & contact was through community transmission. This information is being released to let the community know about confirmed cases that do not increase Converse County’s case count.

To date Converse County has had 19 positive cases and 10 probable cases and a total of 48 people quarantined since March 2020. Currently, There is 1 (one) active case in the county.

Representatives from the city, towns, and county are working in unison to ensure the health and safety of our residents. State wide, the Covid-19 count is at: 1790. Recovered is at 1336. For more information about STATEWIDE cases, please follow this link:
