RE: POSITIVE CASE(S) NOTIFICATION -NON RESIDENT.
DATE: July 28th, 2020
On Tuesday, July 28th, 2020, the Converse County Public Health Department, in conjunction with Converse County Emergency Management, received notification of 1 individual that tested positive for COVID-19 at Memorial Hospital of Converse County. This case IS NOT included in the Converse County case count as they do not reside within Converse County but work within the county. The individual is male, 30’s, recovering at home & contact was through community transmission. This information is being released to let the community know about confirmed cases that do not increase Converse County’s case count.
To date, Converse County has had 20 positive cases and 10 probable cases since March 2020. Currently, there is 1 (one) active case in the county.
