Converse County Government employs approximately 163 regular full-time and part-time employees in 19 offices and departments.

Converse County Human Resources Department provides comprehensive human resource services that properly balance the needs and interests of the employees and the needs of Converse County. The department works in partnership with elected officials, department heads, and division supervisors to maximize the potential of our greatest asset - our employees.

The goals of Converse County are supported by the staff of the Human Resources Department by developing and implementing policies, programs, and services that promote a work environment characterized by fair and equal treatment of staff, open communications, transparency, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect.
