Purpose and Duties
This Committee is an transportation advisory committee to the City of Douglas and Converse County governments. The purpose of the Committee is to evaluate the transportation needs of the urban area, compile and prioritize a list of potential improvement projects constrained by available federal and local matching funds and submit said list to the appropriate governing bodies for their approval.
Board Criteria
As a minimum, the voting membership of the Committee shall consist of one (1) elected representative from Douglas City Council, two (2) City staff representatives appointed by the City Council, one (1) citizen representative appointed by the Douglas City Council, one (1) elected representative from the County Commissioners, two (2) County staff representatives appointed by the County Commissioners, one (1) citizen representative appointed by the County Commissioners, one (1) WYDOT representative from the District and one (1) WYDOT representative from the Planning Program. Members serve four (4) year terms.

This Committee holds an annual meeting during the month of March.
